Do you need a chimney sweep? If you have a wood burning or solid fuel stove then over time, your chimney or chimney lining will gather a build-up of soot & other contaminants, this has the potential to cause dangerous chimney fires. It is important to have lined chimneys swept on a regular basis, especially when burning wood & other solid fuel products. It is generally recommended that this is done - at a minimum - of once a year, this will extend the life of a chimney liner, & also highlight any issues that may have occurred with your chimney.
Bird Guards/ Cowls
Cowls, bird guards and chimney caps serve as a barrier between your chimney and the elements. Ideal for preventing birds from nesting in your flue, as well as preventing rainfall from causing damp problems.
We can install caps/ cowls for any flue type, including gas fires, open fires, unused flues and stoves.
Nest Removal & Animal Rescue
Hearing scratches in the walls? If some of the local wildlife has decided to make it's home in your chimney, we're able to safely and quickly relocate back into it's natural habitat. Including birds, squirrels and the occasional over-curious kitten.
If you have a birds nest blocking your flue, we're more than happy to remove it, but due to UK laws on disturbing nest, we're only able to do so from September to January in order to avoid nesting season.
